WE’RE MOVING !
Es ist soweit! Wir haben die letzten Wochen daran gearbeitet und können euch nun stolz unseren neuen blog vorstellen. Ihr könnt uns nun also nur noch unter findingfate.net finden.
Das ist aber nicht das Einzige. Nach vielen Überlegungen und Gesprächen, haben wir beschlossen, unseren Blog zu erweitern und ihr könnt ab sofort nicht nur Themen wie Fashion oder Beauty finden, sondern auch Dinge wie, Ernährung, Sport Tipps, manchmal Rezepte oder Interiorideen – einfach gesagt: große Dinge und kleine Feinheiten, denen wir immer wieder begegnen und die uns zu dem machen, der wir sind.
Wir würden uns freuen, wenn ihr uns weiter auf unserer Reise begleitet und glaubt uns, es wird uns und euch noch einiges erwarten :*

It’s time! We were working on it the past few weeks and we can finally proudly pronounce to you, the release of our new blog. So you can find us from now on only under: findingfate.net
But that’s not the only thing, we were both talking and thinking very long about it, and with this new start, we also want to dive into other directions besides fashion and beauty, like health, sport tips, sometimes recipes, interior ideas – simply said: big things and little details that we come across every day and that form our lives and make us the way we are.

My Everyday Essential’s
Zur Zeit sind wir wirklich leider viel zu beschäftigt! Den ganzen Tag unterwegs, von der Uni zur Arbeit und dann oft weiter zum Abendessen oder Kino mit Freunden. Da braucht man schon öfter kleine Helfer, die einen über den Tag bringen.
Nowadays we’re really busy! From uni to work, and after that dinner or cinema with friends – the whole day on tour. So I have a few little helpers to take my safely through the day.
Für die Uni benutze ich seit einiger Zeit mein iPad samt Bluetooth Tastatur (zusammen mit meiner Marc Jacobs Hülle) zum Mitschreiben – wenn man verschiedene Vorlesungen hat einfach perfekt, da man nicht mehr verschiedene Blocks braucht. Meine Geldbörse von Michael Kors, meine Culte Sonnenbrille von Miu Miu und meine Brille von RayBan (ja auch ich brauche ein wenig Hilfe in der Ferne 😉 ). Ein etwas neueres Stück in meiner Sammlung ist meine neue iPhone Hülle von The Dairy in Kollaboration mit Kerrie Hess – die ganze Kollektion ist einfach perfekt! Schlussendlich noch mein Kosmetiktasche von Lancome und meine Nikon 1 – perfekt für den Alltag.
For quite some time I’m using my iPad and bluetooth keyboard (including my Marc Jacobs cover) instead of a many books and college blocks. My wallet from Michael Kors, Cult sunglasses from Miu Miu and my glasses from RayBan (yes, I do need a little help in the distance 😉 ). A new piece of my collection is the iPhone cover from The Dairy in collaboration with Kerrie Hess – the whole collection is just incredible! Finally my make-up bag from Lancome and my Nikon 1 – perfect for everyday.
Hier nun ein paar meiner „geheimer“ Helfer: Meine Haut neigt leider dazu, über den Tag sowohl nach zu fetten als auch auszutrocknen. Daher brauche ich ab und zu das Oil Control Paper, oder oft auch Blotting Paper genannt. Mittlerweile haben schon verschiedene Marken, ihre Version entwickelt, ich bin immer noch sehr zufrieden mit Arteco. Falls ich ein bisschen mehr brauche, habe ich auch mein Blot Powder von M.A.C – das beste Puder, das ich bis jetzt benutzt habe! Für einen Schuss Feuchtigkeit habe ich vor einigen Wochen eine richtige Wunderwaffe entdeckt . Der „In-Flight Refreshing Facial Mist“ von Kiehl’s ist auch im Alltag perfekt, verwischt kein Make-up und macht die Haut wieder weich. Für trockene Hände liebe ich meine Handcreme von L’Occitane (mit meinem Lieblingsduft: Kirschblüte). Um von Tag zu Nacht zu wechseln schließlich auch meinen Chanel Lippenstift in der Farbe 62 Monte-Carlo, den Lip junkie Lipgloss von Urban Decay und eine Mini-Version eines meiner Lieblinge: La Vie est belle von Lancome.
Now my „secret“ helpers. Through the day my skin likes to both grease and dry out. For my first problem I use oil control paper, or also blotting paper. There are many products on the markte, personally I like the one from Artdeco very much. If I need a little extra help I’ve also got my Blot Powder by M.A.C – the best powder I ever used! For my second problem I got discovered a little wonder product – the In-Flight Refreshing Facial Mist by Kiehl’s. It gives my skin enough moisture without smudging my make-up. For dry hands I’m using the hand cream by L’Occitane with my favourite smell – cherry blossom. Last but not least – for switching from day to night my Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 62 Monte-Carlo, the lip junkie lipgloss from Urban Decay and a mini version of one of my favourites – La Vie est belle by Lancome.

Favorite Nail Lacquers for spring
Heute möchte ich euch meine zwei liebsten Frühlingsnagellacke vorstellen.
I want to introduce you to my favorite nail lacquers for spring.
Chanel 543 trägt den Namen „Frisson“ und ist ein zartrosa mit ganz vielen kleinen Silber- und Goldpartikeln. Er ist mir im Geschäft sofort ins Auge gestochen und ich finde ihn einfach perfekt für den Frühling. Allerdings muss man ihn zwei Mal auftragen, damit er richtig deckt.
Chanel 543 called „Frisson“ is delicate pink with lots of shimmering silver and gold particles. This nail lacquer immediately caught my attention and I think the color is perfect for spring. However you need two thin coats to achieve the desired effect.
Mein zweiter Favorit ist von Dior – Nummer 204 „Porcelaine“, eine Limited Edition aus der Spring Collection 2014. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein deckendes Pastellblau. Ihr bekommt schon nach einem Mal auftragen ein gutes Ergebnis, doch wer ein kräftigeres Ergebnis möchte, kann ihn auch noch ein zweites Mal auftragen.
My second favorite is Dior 204 „Porcelaine“ a limited edition for spring 2014. It is a covering pastel blue. You already get a good effect after the first coat, but if you want to achieve a better effect, apply it twice.

ich dachte, ich zeige euch einmal, wie meine tägliche Make Up Routine meistens aussieht. Ich verwende nicht jeden Tag die selben Produkte (zum Beispiel Lippenfarbe und Lidschattenfarbe variieren natürlich sehr oft), aber für die Uni oder Freunde treffen wähle ich meistens diese Produkte:

Products that literally changed my (skin) life
Ich weiß, keiner spricht gerne über Hautprobleme – aber, vor ein paar Monaten hatte ich ziemliche Schwierigkeiten und habe verzweifelt nach Hilfe gesucht. Vorab ein paar Fakten: Natürlich hängt der Zustand der Haut auch mit Ernährung und Pflege zusammen, es gibt aber Fälle, bei denen man sich auf jeden Fall Hilfe beim Hautarzt suchen sollte!
Hier aber ein paar Produkte, die bei schlechten Hautphasen helfen (und hatte nicht jeder schon mal eine schlechte Phase?)
I know it’s sort of a tabu – but a few months ago I really had some problems and was desperately looking for help. First I need to say: even though the skin is connected with sorts like nutrition and care, there are problems only a doctor can help you with and shouldn’t be afraid to ask!
But here are a few tips to help you with bad phases (which I believe everyone has sometimes, isn’t it so?)
PS: I’m sorry for the bad quality of the pics, but with this light nowadays, it’s the best I can do 
Zuerst meine Reinigungs – Routine:
Auch wenn sie ein wenig teuer ist, meine Haut ist seit ich die Clarisonic Mia 2 benutze nicht mehr die gleiche. Noch nie war meine Haut so rein und meiner Meinung nach wirkt die Pflege auch besser (was fast logisch ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Poren reiner sind). Es gibt zwar ein Reinigungsgel von Clarisonic selbst, aber ich schwöre auf den ersten Schritt meiner 3-Phasen Clinique Produkte (jeder ist dabei ein anderer Typ, ich zum Beispiel Typ 3) – den zweiten Schritt lasse ich jedoch aus, da mir das Tonic einfach zu scharf ist und die Haut nur reizt!
First my cleaning routine:
Even though it’s quite expensive – the Clarisonic Mia 2 changed my skin, I swear it has never been that soft and clean before! Even my care products work better (quite logical, considering my pores are clean). There’s also a cleaning lotion from Clarisonic, but I prefer my first phase from the 3-step Clinique care (there are several different types, personally I am type 3) – I also leave out the second step, there’s just too much alcohol in it for me!
Und nun meine Pflegeprodukte:
Zuerst das Night Repair Serum von Estée Lauder. Für mich ein kleines Wundermittel (verfeinert die Poren, lässt Rötungen verschwinden und macht die Haut suuuper weich), aber ich würde euch empfehlen zuerst eine Probe auszuprobieren, da ich auch schon oft gehört habe, dass nicht alle eine tolle Wirkung sehen. Apropos Probe: Zur Zeit benutze ich noch meine Probe der Night Repair Eye Creme von Estée Lauder, aber ich werde sicher auch die nachkaufen (Augenringe adé!). Zum Schluss die Phase 3 von Clinique – das Dramatically Different Gel von Clinique (die Creme ist mir einfach zu reichhaltig)
Now my care products:
First, the Night Repair Serum by Estée Lauder. A small wonder product for me (refines the pores, helps against blemishes and redness and makes the skin super super soft), but I recommend trying out a sample first, ‚cause I’ve also heard from people that aren’t happy with it and don’t see any difference). Speaking of sample: I’m still trying our my Night Repair Eye Cream which is also from Estée Lauder – but I will certainly repurchase this products (goodbye to dark circles!). Last but not least phase 3, my dramatically different gel by Clinique (the cream is just a little too much for me)
